The following is a list a just a few ways that you can volunteer within our church. There are more opportunities, however, that are not listed. Our members volunteer by serving as teachers, providing childcare, serving on ministry teams, etc. If you are interested in learning about opportunities outside of those listed here, please contact Carolyn Staley.
The Out to Lunch Bunch is participating in the “The Jaunty Hat Guild” to make hats for cancer patients. Volunteers are also needed to package the hats and help in other ways. Contact Linda Hogue for more information.
Gifts are now being collected for wells in Zambia and Kenya. If you would like to give, make a check out to PHBC with the note “Wells for Africa.”
Our Missions Committe is collecting the following items for Arkansas Baptist Childrens Homes during the month of June: “Stormy Weather Gear” raincoat, boots, umbrellas, parkas, windbreakers, sweat suits, ponchos, G-rated videos and DVDs, Easter egg dying kits, popcorn, lemonade, puzzles, and board games.
Volunteers are needed to serve as overnight and weekend hosts, serve meals, play with visiting children, etc. If you are interested please e-mail Joni Lee.
We are always looking for smiling faces to greet our neighbors at the PHBC Hillcrest Farmer’s Market (May-September annually).
