PHBC will observe the annual Martha S. Marshall Day of Baptist Women in Preaching. Rev. Carolyn Y. Staley, Associate Pastor, and Mollie Palmer, Co-director of Together for Hope, Helena will share the sermon time during worship at 10:45 AM. Yoga/stretch class meets Tuesdays, 6-6:30 PM and is led by Excellentae Fit instructor, Sabreena. We do a great series of exercises, with personal attention to each participant from our instructor.  $10 Beginning Fencing Class meets at 7:30.  The class is free for church members.   Advanced Fencing meets on Thursday evenings. The Pulaski Heights Baptist Children’s Team has a great schedule of events planned for 2012.   Sunday, February 12  is a Valentine’s Breakfast Party in the Rec Hall.  Children will enjoy breakfast and make two Valentine crafts—one to take home, and one for our homebound members to enjoy. Sunday, March 4 is Little Rock Marathon Sunday.  The children will enjoy the first annual KIDS FUN RUN! ALERT! Rabbi Levy will begin our curriculum at 9:30 SHARP. His topic will be “A Magical Mystery Tour Through the Jewish Star”. We should have a room full…maybe some visitors…might even need extra chairs. Rabbi Levy is retired now, having served Congregation B’nai Israel of Little Rock from l987- October 2011. We leave at 9:30 am, Thursday January 12,  to travel toward Benton for Shopping.  Lunch wuill be at Brown’s County Kitchen.  Following lunch, there will be more shopping!  We will return by 4:00 pm.

Young at Heart will be travleing February 9, 2011 to Heber Springs, Arkansas.  We will see the Trumpter Swans and then have lunch before returning.   We depart at 9:00 am and  return by 5:00 pm.  The cost is $12.00 per memeber and $15.00 per guest.  Payment in full is due by February 1, 2012 to make your reservation.
