We believe that it is important for people of all ages to be involved in our missions.
Our children in the Team Kid Wednesday evening mission group have collected funds to support four Chinese pastors! They also make gifts for our homebound members throughout the year. Each year our Vacation Bible School children adopt a mission project as the focus of their offerings. They have sent several Heifer Project animals to developing countries around the world. In 2007 VBS offerings will be used to provide a well in Zambia and Kenya through our mission workers there.
Our youth are active year-round in a variety of service areas. Their main event is a summer mission trip where they participate in construction projects, home renovations, and lead Vacation Bible School activities. They raise their own funds for this trip through “Rent-a-Kid” workdays, rummage sales, and a variety of other projects.
They also lead Children’s Church on the first Sunday of each month. By teaching the children of our church about God, they deepen their own faith. They truly are amazing youth!
